The Moroccan Restaurant
Local musicians lend the soundtrack to dining in Amanjena’s serene restaurant courtyard, a candlelit fountain at its heart. Berber culinary traditions and Moorish, Andalusian and Middle Eastern influences meet on the menu – a kaleidoscope of flavours true to the melting-pot cuisine of Morocco.
At Arva, Amanjena’s chefs celebrate the fresh ingredients and powerful flavours of Southern Italy’s rustic kitchens, drawing on local produce and souk-sourced spices like Berber saffron to add a subtle Moroccan flourish to the Mediterranean menu.
Sheltered from the Moroccan midday sun, Amanjena’s open-air Pool Terrace unfolds beneath an array of gracious arches – an ideal setting for all-day dining. The extensive menu includes salads, light meals and a selection of grilled meats and seafood.
At Amanjena’s atmospheric bar, a mood of easygoing elegance pervades among the arches and pillars. Here, Aman’s award-winning bartender blends the finest spirits with the fruits and herbs of Morocco to create extraordinary signature cocktails, and shares his knowledge with guests in cocktail classes.
