Aman Residences, Amanolu

Combining Aman, the Sanskrit word for ‘peace’, with Olu, inspired by the water lily, Amanolu pairs a 52-key resort with a limited collection of just 16 private Aman Residences, each occupying its own private island in Vaavu Atoll.

Each five-bedroom residence is conceived as a complete private island experience, with Single Beach Residence islands spanning approximately 1.6 hectares and Double Beach Residence islands approximately 1.65 hectares. Each features private beaches, a 25-metre swimming pool, dedicated wellness facilities and private arrival by sea.

Design & Architecture

Designed by longtime Aman collaborator KHA, Aman Residences, Amanolu was masterplanned in response to the natural conditions of the atoll. The design of each residence responds to its individual island setting, with privacy, ocean views and indoor-outdoor living central to the architectural approach.

Pitched roofs, high ceilings and disappearing glazing respond to the tropical climate, complemented by natural stone, pale timbers and woven fibres.
