Aman New York Policies

At Aman New York, the comfort, safety and privacy of our guests are of highest priority. We kindly ask all guests to observe the hotel policies outlined below to ensure a seamless and harmonious stay. 

Property Policies

Smoking

  • Aman New York is a non-smoking hotel. If a guest smokes in the home/suite, a minimum charge equivalent to at least one-night suite accommodation plus tax, along with a USD 500 deep cleaning fee, will be automatically applied.

Pets

  • A non-refundable pet companion fee of USD 350 per stay applies. Guests must sign a Pet Registration Card.
  • Only dogs are allowed with a maximum of two per suite, each up to 50 lbs (22 kg).
  • Dogs may not be left unaccompanied in the suite at any time.
  • Dogs are not permitted in homes participating in the rental programme.
  • In the rare event of damage, charges equivalent to up to a two-night accommodation plus tax, along with a USD 500 deep cleaning fee, will be automatically applied.
  • Dogs must be leashed or securely placed in a carrier during housekeeping service and while in public areas of the hotel.
  • Dogs are not permitted on furniture or in the swimming pool.

Privacy & Access

  • For seamless access, please inform the hotel of any guests joining you in advance. All visitors will be required to present valid photo identification upon arrival.

Photography & Videography

  • No personal, professional or commercial photography or videography is allowed on property without prior written consent by the property’s marketing team. To make an enquiry, please email [email protected].  

Phones, Laptops & Loudspeakers  

  • Laptops are permitted in dining outlets, the lounge and the terrace until 6pm.
  • Use of earphones is required.
  • Speakerphones and loudspeakers are not permitted.  
  • Conversations should be kept to a minimum volume.

Accessibility

Security & Entourage

  • Arrangements must be coordinated with the hotel’s Director of Security prior to arrival. Security personnel must wear suits or professional attire.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted. 
     

Accommodation Policies

Age Requirement

  • Guests must be 21 years or older and present a valid ID at check-in.

Payment

  • The method of payment provided at the time of reservation will be authorised for the full suite rate and tax for the duration of the stay, along with an additional USD 350 per day for incidental charges.

Catering

  • Outside catering is not permitted in suites. If requiring catering, please email [email protected].  

House Car

  • The house car is available exclusively for hotel guests, offering drop-offs within a 20-block radius on a first-come, first-served basis.
     

Dining & Lounge Policies

Food & Beverage

  • Outside food is not permitted in any of our dining outlets.

Dress Code

  • Smart casual attire is required.

Coat & Luggage  

  • We encourage all guests to check in their coats on arrival.
  • Luggage must be checked with the host. 
     

Aman Spa New York Policies

Spa Services

  • Guests must be aged 18 or above to enjoy spa services.
  • Guests who are aged 16 and-17 must sign a waiver and be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian during their visit and/or spa services.

Swimming Pool  

  • Children are permitted from 10am – 6pm.
  • Babies up to one year old are not permitted in the pool.
  • Toddlers (aged one to three) must wear swim diapers.
  • Swimming lessons are not permitted.
  • Loud phone conversations and video calls are not allowed.

Fitness Centre

  • Access is limited to hotel guests, residents and Aman Club members. Guests of those mentioned are not permitted.
  • Guests must be aged 18 years or above to use the Fitness Centre.
  • Guests who are aged 16 and 17 must sign a waiver and be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian during their visit and/or use of the Fitness Centre.
  • Recording training sessions within the gym is prohibited.
  • Outside trainers are not permitted.

Phones, Loudspeakers, Photography & Videography

  • To ensure the comfort and privacy of all guests, the use of mobile phones, photography and filming equipment is strictly prohibited in and around Aman Spa New York.
  • Loud phone conversations and video calls are not permitted.
     

The Jazz Club

Guest Policy

  • All guests must be aged 21 or above to enter and present a valid ID.

Dress Code

  • Smart attire is required.
  • Athleisure wear, flip flops and shorts are not permitted.

Performances

  • A performance fee will be charged per guest during any performance, regardless of the duration of the stay. The amount varies depending on the performer.
  • Flash photography and video recording are not permitted.
  • Mobile phones must be placed on silent mode.
