With its idyllic setting on the Island of the Gods, Amandari is perfectly placed to offer an ambrosial culinary experience that showcases Bali’s cornucopia of seasonal produce and unique flavours. Our chefs handpick the freshest ingredients from Amandari’s own organic garden and local farms, and just-caught seafood arrives daily from the shores of the Indian Ocean. Savour authentic Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, as well as international dishes in The Restaurant, Terrace Bar and private Dining Balé, or enjoy private dining in the comfort of your Suite 24 hours a day.

Private Dining Balé
Perched right on the lip of the Ayung River Gorge, the open-sided Balé accommodates up to four guests for private breakfasts, picnic lunches and candlelit dinners.
As the island awakes, enjoy the dawn chorus with a stroll or hike through the rice paddies, then savour a delicious breakfast in the Dining Balé. Seemingly perched above the valley with your own bird’s eye views, sip freshly squeezed fruit juices, and tuck into warm-from-the-oven pastries as coffee scents the morning air.
During the evening, guests can enjoy the Megibung Balinese Feast. Inspired by the last King of Karangasem, the feast features delectable island dishes and a live dance performance.

Available year-round
'Purnama' means 'full moon' in Indonesian: complete, infinite and perfect. On these sacred evenings, Amandari marks the occasion with a thoughtfully curated culinary gathering. A bespoke menu highlights local ingredients, seasonal flavours and Balinese favourites, served beneath the moonlit sky - a quiet celebration of light, renewal and the rhythms of the valley.
Purnama date: 27 August, 26 September, 25 October, 24 November and 23 December 2026.

Ngejot is an exquisite Balinese Hindu tradition and a symbol of interfaith harmony that involves sharing food with neighbours as an expression of gratitude during celebratory occasions. Upholding this tradition, Amandari offers Ngejot Balinese Feast at The Restaurant during dinner time, which features Balinese finest local cuisine and highlights native rare ingredients such as Balinese mansur rice from Payangan village and Balinese heritage pig from Tabanan regency.
A private Ngejot Balinese Feast experience with Penyembrama Dance performance at the dining bale is available with 24-hour notice.

Jamuan Makan Nusantara offers diverse regional Indonesian archipelago dishes. Featuring a curation of expertly prepared vegetables, seafood, and meat dishes, this dining experience showcases Indonesian cuisine’s bold and complex flavours as well as its aromatic herbs and spices.

Known as the golden hour, when the setting sun gilds every leaf, stone and smile, late afternoon at Amandari is the moment to stroll up the hill, settle into your own private picnic setting and toast another magical day with your drink of choice.
