The Experience

Before crowds form at this famous ancient water temple. Aman guests are invited to receive personal morning blessings in its revered bathing pools. Guided by spiritual healers and a village storyteller, such purification ceremonies can be dated back to 962AD. Tirta Empul itself means ‘holy spring that arises from the ground’ and is a symbol of Bali’s enduring devotion to the healing power of water.
