The resort is also easily accessible to the Kamigamo Shrine - one of Kyoto’s oldest shrines and most desired location for traditional ceremonies. Celebrations can further make use of the resort’s extensive facilities, including hot springs for onsen bathing, and exceptional dining – from picnics among the flora to cocktail parties on the expansive garden terrace.

Venues
The Living Pavilion by Aman
An open and elegant setting that frames postcard views of the gardens outside, The Living Pavilion by Aman is a perfect venue for grand celebrations or hosting a private dinner. With an inviting central fireplace for convivial gatherings, the space can accommodate up to 28 guests when seated.
Garden Terrace
Surrounded by lush greenery, the resort’s Garden Terrace offers a spacious and airy atmosphere, ideal for light lunches and drinks receptions. It can accommodate around 24 guests when seated, and 30 when standing.
Taka-An
From fine dining to Japanese cooking lessons, Taka-An can be used for a wide range of events and can seat up to 24 guests when occupied in its entirety. The smaller, private dining room is also available for intimate family celebrations, seating up to six guests.
Washigamine Pavilion
Surrounded by nature and located in the resort’s most secluded setting, this villa-style pavilion offers panoramic views of garden and Mt. Hiei in the distance. With two en suite bedrooms, alongside a spacious living room, traditional Japanese Tatami room, a dining room and a kitchen area, it is perfect for exclusive and intimate celebrations with a private chef.
