With its inky-black seating, dusky pink walls and alcoves adorned with single-handed nimcha swords, Amanjena’s atmospheric Bar is an evocative corner to steal away to for an evening. Reminiscent of a bygone time, it rests beneath the resort’s signature columns and lofty ceilings, with indoor fireplaces for winter months and outdoor seating that extends around the central Bassin during summer, when an atmospheric bonfire is lit nightly. Aman’s talented bar team is on hand to blend the finest spirits with Moroccan fruits and herbs to create the resort’s signature cocktails.

Innovative mixologists

Expert bartenders at Amanjena are responsible for crafting the collection of signature cocktails, which includes drinks dedicated to 007 and Ernest Hemingway, as well as the locally inspired Marrakech Mule (gin infused with gingerbread, berries and lemon) and the Desert Fashioned (a Moroccan-themed take on the traditional Old Fashioned, muddled with Argan oil, dates and Bulleit Bourbon). 

A day-to-night menu

Learn about Morocco’s ritualised mint tea tradition during the Bar’s daily afternoon tea, served from 3.30pm to 5pm, with a selection of savoury treats, cakes and pastries. At other times, artisanal Volzhenka caviar, sustainably produced by a female-led family, can also be sampled in small plates. Sharing-style snacks are also available.
