Beneath One Moon
Let Aman, and the celestial bodies above, guide you on your journey home this festive season.

Set within the palatial piano nobile and overlooking hotel’s Grand Canal garden, The Bar at Aman Venice invites both resident and non-resident guests to indulge in timeless Venetian hospitality. Beneath the frescoed ceiling and intricate stuccoes of the Red Room, award-winning Bar Manager Antonio Ferrara curates a menu of bespoke cocktails and premium spirits, complemented by refined cicchetti and light seasonal dishes. In warmer months, alfresco drinks and cocktails are served in the garden, offering an enchanting setting for gatherings from midday until midnight.

Inspired by Lord Byron – a legendary Venice resident and English poet known for his eccentric spirit – Aman Venice’s Bar oozes artistry and flair. Guided by master mixologist Antonio Ferrara, cocktail menus evolve with the seasons, with exclusive creations available during events such as Venice Cocktail Week and the Architecture Biennale. Guests can also take part in bespoke mixology classes, discovering the secrets of cocktail making in an intimate, hands-on experience.
The Bar’s cocktail collection takes creative inspiration from the six most emblematic halls of Aman Venice’s home, Palazzo Papadopoli. Imaginatively translating the building’s celebrated architectural and artistic details into flavour and form, drinks echo the intricacy of stucco ceilings; wafers mirror delicate frescoes; and ice cubes take fabric form, etched with silk patterns. Crafted with Rubelli fabric from the Palazzo, the menu itself is too both sensory and symbolic. From the romance of Incanto to the strength of Indomabile, every cocktail tells a story of the palazzo’s history and elegance.
Having held high-society soirées since the 16th century, Aman Venice’s past as one of the city’s monumental palazzos still resonates through the Red Room today. Now home to The Bar, the space was once titled Salone Galleria and originally used as a gallery to showcase contemporary paintings. A nod to its artistic past, the ceiling is still covered in a vast fresco by Cesare Rotta depicting Olympus, while stuccos celebrate both the arts and sciences, from literature and music to astronomy and navigation. Together, these details help paint a picture of the Papadopoli family as patrons of the arts, making The Bar not just a place to gather, but Venetian culture and creative reference.
