Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City. Spend time relaxing by private pools, visiting the otherworldly landscape of the Agafay dunes or rejuvenating inside Amanjena’s serene spa.
Drawing on the energy of East Bali, the Spa’s therapies aim for complete relaxation and presence in the moment. Natural ingredients are used in traditional Balinese baths, scrubs and wraps – available in the privacy of guest Suites, the massage pavilion, a beach bale or secluded open-air spot with tropical canopy.
Healers, trained to facilitate deep transformation, utilise a variety of tools to assist with awakening and healing. Holistic practitioners offer treatments ranging from hypnotherapy to reiki.
Amankila’s speciality – the cinta therapy, for individuals and couples
A full-body exfoliation cleanses and purifies before a warm bath scented with rose and flower essences opens the chakra. To finish, an aromatherapy body massage infuses a sense of harmony.
Yoga & Movement Classes
A range of styles taught by resident and visiting practitioners are available, including hatha, pranayama and vinyasa flow. Bapak Eka, our resident yoga instructor, conducts entertaining Laughing Yoga classes for one hour. Classes are held in our Yoga Bale, next to the beach, accompanied by the sound of crashing waves.
Celebrate Global Wellness Day at Amankila and embrace its aim of promoting a healthier, better way of living. A delicious, three-course Harvest Table lunch will be followed by Laughing Yoga with Pak Eka in the Coconut Grove, then refreshing ginger tea with traditional sweet treats in the sunshine. Jakarta-born yoga guru, Hendri Take, will then lead a special yoga session overlooking the ocean, and later, a seafood BBQ dinner will be served at the Beach Club.
An early start the next morning will see you on The Terrace, where a sunrise breathwork session with Hendri will segue into breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and homemade pastries.
