Festive season at Amanemu

Overlooking serene Ago Bay in Ise-Shima National Park, Amanemu offers direct access to mineral hot springs and the region’s bountiful produce, providing a sanctuary free from seasonal stress this festive season.

Celebrations begin on 14 December with the lighting of traditional Takeakari Lanterns providing the perfect excuse to come together with loved ones and celebrate the season. On the days that follow, Wreath Making, Christmas Cocktails and Mochi Pounding ensure each significant date is imbued with Japanese tradition, while on New Year’s Day, good fortune is spread with the sharing of New Year Sake and the ritual of Hatsumode, where hopes and wishes for the year ahead are written down and dedicated to a local shrine.

Festive Dinner

Chef Katsutoshi Kitahara has designed a bespoke Christmas menu which will be served in the Restaurant. Guests can enjoy views across the surrounding forest and bay, while indulging in an eight-course menu that highlights the exceptional produce from the Ise-Shima region as well as Aman's very own caviar.
