Amankora
The first resort in Bhutan and with five lodges across its central and western valleys, Amankora has been a part of this legendary Buddhist Kingdom for almost 20 years.
Towering palms and eucalyptus trees engulf Amanbagh’s palatial Terrace Haveli Suites, which offer 163 square metres (1,754 square feet) of space and seclusion, with views over Amanbagh’s pool or of the mountains in the distance. Each has an expansive outdoor terrace with dining area and a large daybed, ideal for admiring the serene natural setting. Inside, the suite offers accommodation for up to three adults or two adults and two children under the age of 12. A king-sized bed is accompanied by an airy, elegant living area with a daybed, armchairs and a writing desk while a large en suite bathroom with bathtub carved from Udaipur green marble and separate dressing room add a sense of grandeur.
