Amanjiwo, Indonesia
A hidden jewel at Java’s centre Amanjiwo rests in the shadows of the largest Buddhist temple complex in the world, Borobudur, which reopens to visitors from 1 March 2023.
Surrounded by natural vegetation and situated on the edge of tranquil ponds, Amanyara’s 65 square metre (700 square feet) Tranquility Pavilions afford guests their own serene retreat. Timber-shingled, the pavilions fit seamlessly into their beautiful surroundings, with expansive outdoor terraces, high-ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the great outdoors. Each pavilion has a king-sized bed, living area with reading chair and writing desk, and an oversized bathroom with huge deep-soaking bathtub for evenings spent in peaceful seclusion.
