Amankora
The first resort in Bhutan and with five lodges across its central and western valleys, Amankora has been a part of this legendary Buddhist Kingdom for almost 20 years.
Aman Le Mélézin’s serene spa, swimming pool, fitness and hydrotherapy areas are spread over two entire floors of the four-floor hotel. Offering a wide range of therapeutic and pampering treatments, it is the ideal space in which to prepare, or recover from, an active day in the magnificent outdoors.
The rejuvenating Mélézin spa journey begins with dry body brushing to stimulate circulation, followed by a hot oil massage incorporating hot stones to release muscular tension and eliminate lactic acid build-up. Finally, rehydrate and nourish your skin with a moisturizing facial – the perfect antidote to the drying Alpine elements.
Using their intuition and a range of diverse techniques, our spa therapists will tailor this therapeutic massage to address your specific tension areas with a unique blend of warm oils and long, slow strokes.
Bring energy and mobility back to cold feet and heavy legs. Dry skin brushing improves circulation and helps clear lactic acid build up. Hot compresses warm and soften tight muscles, in preparation for a stimulating hot oil sports massage on the legs to loosen up the muscles and prevent stiffness.
