Amanyara – which means “peaceful place” – is located on the secluded western shore of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.


Isolated on the west coast of the island, Amanyara is a short drive from Providenciales International Airport (PLS).


The dry season generally runs from November through May, with scattered showers from June through October. During the cooler months, from December through March, the average daily high temperature is approximately 26°C (79°F). The hotter months are June through October, when the daily average high is 32°C (90°F).

What to pack

Light clothing is appropriate with a sweater or jacket in the evenings. Sports shoes or sandals are suitable for light touring around the island.

Language & Currency
English is the most common language for daily use in Turks and Caicos. The US dollar is the unit of currency.
Don’t Forget
The Turks and Caicos Islands are on Eastern Standard Time (EST), four hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT. Electrical current is 110 volts/60 cycles, which is suitable for all US appliances.
There are two private medical centres and a full-service hospital managed by InterHealth Canada on the island.

Please check with your nearest embassy or consulate prior to travel. For stays of up to 30 days, no visas are required for citizens of the US, Canada, the UK and EU countries. Most other nationalities require a visa. All nationalities, including US and UK citizens, will need to hold a passport valid for at least six months. Proof of onward transportation is also required upon entry.
