Commercial flight options

Amanwana can assist guests in commercial flight bookings.

Currently, commercial flights do not fly direct to Sumbawa from Bali, Jakarta or any international destination. Guests flying on commercial airlines from Bali will experience a stopover in Lombok.

Due to ever-changing conditions, commercial flights often face delays or cancellations, and guests may be held overnight in Lombok. The Amanwana team will monitor guests on in-coming commercial flights and provide assistance when required. However, kindly note Amanwana cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellations of commercial flights and the guests will be solely responsible for additional costs resulting from changes to their commercial flights.

Guests arriving on all airlines are met at the airport in Sumbawa Besar by an Aman representative and transferred by car to Amanwana’s private jetty, where the Amanwana boat awaits.  

Private helicopter transfers from Bali  

There’s a magic that can happen between departure and destination, when, as we venture beyond the confines of our everyday routines, we start to feel truly free. To make journeys to Amanwana as peaceful and seamless as possible, the camp’s partnership with Fly Bali makes private helicopter transfers from Bali directly to the resort’s location on Moyo Island possible. The incredible beauty of the landscape, the freedom to explore in one’s own time, this journey is designed to capture the poetry and pleasure of a private trip, combined with the privacy, service and imagination that characterises all Aman travel.
 
Helicopters depart on request from Bali’s Melasti Beach Helipad, and fly directly to Amanwana with a flight duration of approximately one hour. Choose to stay in the air and simply admire the scenery, or touch down to start your adventure on Moyo Island.

Airport transfers within Bali

Guests staying at Amandari, Amankila or Aman Villas at Nusa Dua before or after their stay at Amanwana will be provided with complimentary car transfers to and from Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS). For guests requiring an overnight stay on Bali at either end of their Amanwana holiday, Aman Villas at Nusa Dua is only a 20-minute drive from Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS)

Visas

All foreign travellers to Indonesia require at least six months remaining on their passport, as well as one full clean page for the visa upon arrival stamp. Guests will be denied access to board the plane in their departing country if this is not adhered to
