Amandira Voyages – Tailored Indonesia Cruises

Amandira, a two-masted sailing ship measuring 52 metres from bow to stern, was handcrafted by the Konjo tribe and launched in 2015. A traditional Phinisi vessel, it combines the ancient romance of the spice trade with cutting-edge contemporary amenities, sailing the vibrant waters of Indonesia, from Amanwana to Komodo National Park and the Raja Ampat islands

Twin-masted amandira was built using age-old techniques of shipbuilders from the konjo tribe

The ship was customised to integrate modern technology in both the cabins and the engine, which supplements the sails when necessary

The ship can accommodate up to ten guests, with three spacious king bed cabins and two bunk bed cabins

The three king bed cabins each have a living area with a sofa, as well as a large bathroom with shower and twin vanities

Visit the volcanic isles of komodo national park, a unesco world heritage site

Home to its namesake Komodo dragon, the isles of the park are reached through the azure waters and white sand beaches of the Nusa Tenggara islands

Cruise the raja ampat archipelago, a wonderland of natural beauty, both above and below water

Set between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, the sea is one of the planet’s most diverse, with thousands of species of fish and hundreds of coral

State-of-the-art onboard diving equipment includes nitrox, enabling longer bottom time for experienced divers

New divers have the opportunity to gain PADI certification under the guidance of a certified instructor

Whether sunbathing or sipping sunset cocktails, life onboard revolves around the expansive foredeck

A crew of 14 and 5 cabins ensures a seamless experience, while an onboard masseur can relieve weary muscles after a day of island trekking

Amandira can be sailed in tandem with its sister boat, amanikan, for the ultimate indonesian odyssey

Up to 16 passengers can sail between the two ships on journeys across the majestic waterscapes of Indonesia
