International flights 

The nearest airport to Amangalla is Bandaranaike International (BIA), Sri Lanka’s main airport, located 30 kilometres north of Colombo. From here, it’s a two-hour drive to reach the resort.

 

Entry requirements/visas 

Sri Lanka offers an ETA electronic visa for all foreign nationals, which can be applied for in advance online. Aman recommends that all international guests refer to the official website for information on the latest entry requirements.

 

Airport transfers 

Amangalla is a two-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). The resort’s dedicated concierge team can arrange VIP transfers upon request, including daily seaplanes from Colombo to Koggala, a 25-minute drive from Amangalla, and helicopter flights from Bandaranaike to Galle, which take an hour.
