Culinary experiences: Cook the island

A signature culinary series at Amankila

Amankila’s Executive Chef, Cihan Beyit, will pair up with two new Michelin-starred guest chefs for a series of special events on Bali’s quiet east coast. Join Korean-American multi-course maverick, Dan Bark, of Cadence restaurant in Bangkok in October, and Italian maestro, Denis Lucchi, of Buona Terra in Singapore in November.

Purifying Spiritual Journey

Designed to purify and refocus minds clouded by daily life and unhealthy environments, Amankila's three-night Purifying Spiritual Journey includes daily spa treatments, as well as daily blessings or ceremonial rituals at some of Bali's most sacred sites. Day 1 begins the process with Aman's Signature 90-minute Purifying Massage. Day 2 includes a visit to Besakih Temple, a Melukat cleansing ritual at Jagasatru Waterfall and a 60-minute spa treatment of choice. Day 3 sees participants exploring Lempuyang Temple, benefiting from a Reiki healing session and indulging in another 60-minute spa treatment. A blessing ceremony at Silayukti Temple on the final morning is the finishing touch to this deeply beneficial journey.
