Summer in the city
From the sprawling metropolises of New York and Tokyo to the 100-island capital of Italy’s Veneto region, Aman’s urban sanctuaries come alive in the summer months.
Once a residence for guests of King Sihanouk, Amansara is a masterpiece of 1960’s New Khmer architecture just ten minutes from the entrance to Cambodia’s Angkor Wat Unesco World Heritage Site. Set in spiritual Siem Reap, Amansara's manicured gardens, a tranquil spa, curvilinear pool and canopy of mature trees add to tangible tranquillity that inspired its name – ‘heavenly peace’.
Amansara is currently closed for seasonal maintenance and will reopen on 30 September 2023.
Between the city and Angkor Archaeological Park, Amansara is a 45-minute drive from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport. Car transfers are complimentary with Amansara’s fleet of two vintage Mercedes limousines.
