A 4:30am wake-up call and prompt 5am departure allows time to arrive by remork with the first morning light, providing time for guided insight, personal exploration and the chance to witness dawn with few others.

Amansara, Cambodia - Activities, Temple, Bayon faces tower — Bayon Temple

Bayon Temple is an architectural masterpiece located within the Angkor Thom complex inside the Archaeological Park. It was built in the late 12th or early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, the renowned Khmer king. What sets Bayon apart are the gigantic stone faces carved into its towers, believed to represent Buddhist deity Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or King Jayavarman VII himself.

Known as ‘the jungle temple’, Ta Prohm's sturdy stones stand entwined with the silk-cotton and strangler fig-tree roots of the encroaching forest.
