In the heart of Manhattan, Aman Spa New York reaches new, uncharted heights in the city, epitomising the phrase urban sanctuary with over 2,300 square metres (25,000 square feet) of space dedicated to wellbeing. Bringing to life the fullest expression of Aman's health and wellness concept yet, it offers unmatched facilities including two luxurious private Spa Houses, along with transformative experiences and cutting-edge wellness and performance science, acting as a wellspring for enhanced wellbeing beyond its physical boundaries.
Occupying the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors, Aman Spa New York is imbued with a deeply contemplative ambience designed using natural materials to create a grounding environment. Every detail has been carefully considered to ease guests along their wellness journey, whether consulting with a functional and integrative medical doctor, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner or experienced Physiotherapist.
On arrival, guests are welcomed into the tranquil reception area with its spacious lounge and a spa boutique. Beyond lie Functional and Integrative Medicine examination and therapy rooms, where Dr. Robert Graham, a Harvard-trained physician, and other practitioners assist in formulating bespoke Wellness Solutions and Wellness Immersion Programs. Assessed via functional medical biomarker lab test diagnostics, practitioners are informed by the latest science based Bioimpedance screening and performance technologies to create tailored, multi-disciplinary plans.

Each Spa House allows for a personalised journey, featuring either a Hammam – a marble steam room, or a spacious Banya – a wood-clad sauna, and offering its own double treatment room, a spacious living area with fireplace, a large private outdoor terrace with a hot bath and cold-plunge pool covered by a canopy for year-round use.

Aman Spa New York is home to a light-filled, 280 square metres (3,000 square feet) Fitness Centre overlooking 56th Street. Incorporating a Power Gym concept, with Technogym training equipment, an Infrared Zone featuring a VacuTherm Stepper, VacuTherm Treadmill and Infrared Body Roll, and finely calibrated analytic and high-performance training apparatus.
The space also offers a double capacity Cryotherapy Chamber, Cellgym® CellAir® technology and a Yoga and Pilates Studio with Reformer equipment. Private sessions in every conceivable fitness, movement and mindfulness modality are also available, whether with one of Aman New York's experienced in-house personal trainers or an external visiting practitioner.
Aman Spa New York’s extensive menu offers a host of treatments providing a restorative interlude away from the urban whirl. The Aman New York Signature Treatment is unique to this landmark spa, designed to impart an enduring sense of stillness, harmony, connection and confidence in this city of perpetual motion. Signature therapies from Aman destinations around the world are also offered, reflecting the Grounding, Purifying and Nourishing pathways of the all-natural Aman Skincare product range. Complementing the Aman signature spa treatments, massage therapies, and holistic facials on offer, are several further advanced aesthetic technologies employing lasers, infrared light, and electromagnetic waves for non-invasive face and body regeneration.
Made in Japan, Aman’s new functional skincare line, Essential Skin, is infused with powerful rice bran and indigo extracts, to achieve noticeably lifted, more radiant skin. Combining products from the Essentials Skin line with exfoliation and manual lifting techniques, the Aman Advanced Facial stimulates face muscles to improve the skin’s overall texture.
The treatment begins with ultrasonic scrubbing to loosen and remove oil and debris from the pores. Supported by electric muscle stimulation and massage to firm, and cryo bulbs to eliminate puffiness, the complexion appears brighter and tighter. The treatment continues with the application of a marine mineral mask to deeply hydrate, followed by Aman x 111Skin Nourishing Gold Algae hydrogel face and eye masks to achieve an exceptional glow. For a wholly rejuvenation process, the facial can be extended to incorporate a 15-minute scalp massage.
