From intimate courtyard dinners to elaborate wedding banquets, every private celebration at Amanjena is instilled with the traditions of North Africa while menus abound with the fragrant spices of this exotic land.
A Palace of Your Own
Amanjena provides the perfect opportunity for guests to take the entire resort as an exclusive venue for a special occasion of corporate retreat. Events that occupy our entire space are considered full resort buyouts, granting supreme privacy and island exclusivity. Buyouts are subject to availability.
The venues
Water Bassin
Amid Arabesque ornaments, Berber carpets, and the glow of countless lanterns from the Medina, Amanjena's Bassin offers a breathtaking venue for weddings, birthdays, or corporate events. Accommodating up to 500 guests for a culinary feast and entertainment of choice, the expansive space can host up to 1200 standing guests when covered.
Lounges
The hotel entrance, dramatic and flanked by rose petal-scented courtyards, leads to a central lobby with two lounges and a gracious arrival pavilion. Ideal for refined cocktail receptions, the venue accommodates up to 200 standing guests or 50 seated guests.
Caidal Tent
Once utilised by Moroccan dignitaries during desert travels, Caidal Tents offer an authentic and intimate space for unique celebrations. At Amanjena, an ornately decorated Caidal sets the scene for candlelit private dinners for up to 25 guests, featuring feasting accompanied by live Moroccan music.
The Restaurants
Amanjena offers diverse indoor dining venues, from the architectural masterpiece of the Moroccan Restaurant to the unique pastel-hued Nama. Whether you crave North African flavors by candlelight or personalised seafood selections, we'll find the perfect option for you.
Pool Terrace
In a Moorish decor, overlooking the Arabesque arches and the surrounding water ponds, the Pool Terrace features a 33 by 13 meters the green tiled pool. With spectacular views at sunset, the venue is the ideal setting for wedding receptions and dinners for large groups, hosting up to 500 guests standing and 250 guests seated. The pool will be covered to accommodate larger groups.
The Olive Grove
The Olive Grove offers a picturesque setting for a variety of events, from cocktails to seated dinners, with views of the Amelkis golf course and ancient olive trees. Accommodating up to 250 seated guests or 500 standing, it's perfect for wedding ceremonies, themed brunches, casual barbecues, or alfresco cocktail parties.
