With apricot-coloured walls and candle-adorned tables, The Moroccan Restaurant evokes the atmosphere of the Medina in an authentic homespun setting, enlivened each night by local musicians.

A taste of the east on the edge of Africa: Amanjena’s nightly Nama restaurant blends Japan’s Unesco-listed Washoku cuisine with fresh seafood sourced from the Essaouira coast. Glazed chicken skewers cooked on a robata grill and servings of sashimi from the chef-run sushi counter show the power of Japan’s food to entice with its simple combination of respect for nature and a sustainable use of ingredients.

Pool Terrace & Olive Grove
Cool breezes channel through Amanjena’s open-air Pool Terrace making its shaded arches the perfect retreat from Morocco’s midday sun. Light, lunchtime dishes include salads, ceviche and sides, as well larger mains and house-made pizza, crafted by hand and cooked in the wood-fired oven of the adjoining Olive Grove.
