Retreat to the quiet camphor-tree-lined fringes of Amanyangyun

The 10,000-plus camphor trees that encircle Amanyanyun today were rescued from rural Fuzhou, in eastern China's Jiangxi province, and carefully replanted on the quiet outskirts of Shanghai. This exclusive journey of one night or more immerses guests within the age-old forest around Amanyangyun with a cycling experience through the trees and a cultural activity at the resort’s architecturally-arresting Nan Shufang cultural centre – one of the many antique buildings to also be rescued from Fuzhou. A spa treatment and breakfast are also included.
