At the heart of the Trois Vallées, Aman Le Mélézin is located in a French Alpine village situated directly on the Bellecôte ski slope.


Courchevel is within reach of Geneva (GVA) and Lyon (LYS) airports; with local flights to Chambéry Airport (CMF) and a heliport nearby.


During the winter ski season, from December to February, average temperatures range from -15°C (5°F) to 5°C (41°F). During the spring ski season, from March to April, average temperatures range from -5°C (23°F) to 20°C (68°F). Snow conditions are excellent, with six to eight metres each winter and very well maintained slopes.

What to pack

In the winter months, warm clothes and waterproof shoes are recommended, along with ski gear if planning to hit the slopes.

Language & Currency
The official language of France is French, and English is widely spoken. The euro is France’s unit of currency.

France is on Central European Time (CET), one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Electricity is 220 volts / 50 cycles; converters as well as plug adaptors are available.
Medical services are available round the clock at Aman Le Mélézin. There are no particular immunisations required for entry into France.

In 2015, Aman Le Mélézin is closed between 8th April and 17th December. The team can advise on visas as well as assist with any other travel arrangements, including transfers and private flights.
