With frost glittering on the forest floor and onsen steam adding mystical allure to Aman Kyoto’s enchanting woodland setting, a more magical winter wonderland in which to celebrate the festive season is hard to imagine.

This year Aman Kyoto’s team has curated a seasonal programme inspired by the beauty of nature and the peace intrinsic to Aman destinations worldwide. Extraordinary culinary events range from Snow Crab Kaiseki course evening to a menu showcasing exquisite Kyoto Hirai beef on New Year’s Eve. As per tradition, New Year’s Day will be full of symbolism with a Shishimai lion dance, mochitsuki rice-pounding ceremony and Osechi breakfast at Taka-An.
