Introducing guests to the serene surroundings of the starkly beautiful Agafay Desert and the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, each day of this retreat presents a new challenge - a long-distance desert run, a long-distance mountain bike excursion and an uphill mountain trail run.
Four days to test your physical limits
15-31 October 2021
Led by expert guides, the Extreme Desert & Mountain Sports Retreat is well-suited to guest wishing to push their body to the limit. Florian Campus, who has coached professional athletes and is the resort’s personal trainer, will oversee the mountain and dry desert runs, whilst Swiss mountain bike pioneer Pierre-Alain Renfer, who has specialised in authentic mountain bike and adventures sport since 1992, will ensure all participants' safety and support while mountain biking.
On return to the resort every afternoon, a well-earned treatment awaits in the Aman Spa to soothe tired muscles. To further support their experience, guests will also enjoy a bespoke meal plan with plenty of balanced carbohydrates and nutrients to reenergise and provide strength for all the sporting activities, alongside receiving necessary equipment, such as hydration packs, first aid kits, water and energy bars.
